PALS Preschool provides an opportunity for children to engage in 1:1 individualised table top activities throughout the school day. Table top activities typically focus on receptive and expressive language, visual performance, imitation skills and self-help skills. Each pupil is assessed to determine their current strengths and abilities and to identify which developmental goals need to be concentrated on.  Following assessment, an Individual Educational Program (I.E.P) is devised. Parental input is greatly encouraged as it ensures consistency for the child across both the school and home settings Progress reports and reviews are scheduled at intervals throughout the year and are made available to parents.  Teaching methods vary for each individual and all aspects of the child’s programme are over seen by our behaviour support team.
